Bulkington have been awarded their Silver CAPS Award by England Netball..... but was does this actually mean?

'CAPS' is the Club Action Planning Scheme. Its purpose is to encourage netball clubs with junior players to be well-run, active and accessible.

CAPS is aligned to the Sport England Clubmark scheme. It is built around a set of core criteria that ensure that accredited clubs operate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards. CAPS have three levels of awards - Bronze, Silver and Gold. Bulkington Netball Club are just at the start of our journey using CAPS - we are currently looking at working towards the next level award - Silver.

By achieving our Bronze award we have proved that we are able to safeguard our Juniors and club members, and protect young people. We offer quality coaching and offiliating, competition, talent development, sports equity and good management. All clubs looking to work to the CAPS programme must achieve the Bronze award before moving on.
