February 10 Newsletter

Hi Everyone... hope you are all well. Please see information below that should be of interest to you:

1. Following the recent news of Lynn Pallett stepping down as Chairman of the Club, the committee are pleased to confirm that we now have new representation. Abi and Amy will be Co-Chairman and Mandie has been elected as Vice Chair. I am sure you will join the committee in supporting them in their new roles. We would also like to thank Lynn for her time and support for the club over the years.

2. Bulkington will be moving forward for our CAPS accreditation to try and gain a Silver award. This does mean a lot of hard work, and volunteers to attend courses/refreshers. Further details will follow - however any help that can be given would be greatly appreciated.

3. We will again be running a Summer League this year - further details and dates to follow (volunteers will be required to assist on match days)

4. The Club's end of year presentation do is currently being organised for 24th April. We will be using the Cocked Hat again, after a lovely presentation event last year. Please use the tear off strip at the bottom of your newsletter (or speak to your Captain) to confirm your attendance. It would be great to see a fantastic turnout this year!

5. Fundraising - if anyone has any ideas for fundraising please speak to a member of the committee

6. Brean 2010 - any outstanding monies to be paid urgently please
