After having played so well last week, Bulkington A team were unable to repeat the performance against a strong Leamington B team.

 

No excuse, other than we just weren't good enough on the day. Leamington applied pressure from the start and were soon 5 -0 in the lead. Bulkington slowly clawed their way back with what seemed like an uphill battle against the arms of the Leamington GK.

 

A frustrating game and at half time it was 11 -18 to Leamington.

 

The second half continued in the same way. The deficiet was reduced to 4 by three quarter time, primarly due to the fact that the team were awarded a number of penalty shots.

 

At 21 -25 going into the final quarter there was still a glimmer of hope, however, it wasn't to be and the team lost by 8 .  Final score 28 -36.
