Henley V Bulkington A  Monday 15/03/2010 Lost 37 - 21 

 

Difficult to report a week after the game - however, the general feeling was one of disappointment - Bulkington believed that they would have been able to give Henley A a close run game, however, with several Regional players in the team.. it just proved a little too much.

 

Bulkington had a good first quarter and were only 9 -6 down, however, Henley took command in the second quarter and frustrated the Bulkington attack. By half time Bulkington were losing 22 -11...   

Changes were made by both teams at half time - notably Big Bird being replaced at GS for Henley - the change by Henley undoubtedly influenced the game,and Bulkington won the third quarter 5 -4  (26 -16)

The last quarter Bulkington worked hard, with some lovely play from Stacey Mc, Amy T and Abi - however, despite their efforts the last quarter was lost 11 -5.. the final result being 37 -21.
