Despite losing this game, the team were some what uplifted with the performance they gave. The early part of the game Bulkington found themsleves 5 -1 in the lead, however Copsewood showed their class by clawing back the goals to find themselves 6 - 5 in the lead - mainly due to the 'ever young' Debbie Greaves who appeared to spring and intercept ther ball when not expected.   

Not to be outdone,Abi in the third quarter made three clean interceptions - all of which led to goals.

Faye had a busy first half, calling and making herself available using the circle edge to try and penetrate the Copsewood attack.

 

Bulkington never gave up and in particular had a really good defensive third quarter - the whole team played a part and only lost the quarter one by one goal at 9 -8.

 

Tiredness and fitness took its toll in the last quarter and Bulkington 7 - 3 -- the final score being 35 -22.
